Mime Makeup of Asian Celebrities

Mime makeup of Asian celebrities: Asian makeup style has evolved through the years. Some Asian girls like in Japan where Japanese fashion trend setters have largely adopted Western makeup style but other Asians have gone the other direction to preserve their cultural beauty.

Regardless, when you meet someone for the first time, what truly captivates you are the eyes. Asian eyes have different eye shape to non-Asians and thus, you need to apply makeup to suit.

Most makeup artists for Asian stars know this well and to mime makeup like them, it is necessary to learn the art of makeup for our individual unique Eye shape.

In this article, we will focus on the oriental and Asian eye makeup to mime makeup of Asian celebrities. For starter, an eyelash curler could do magic to impact your overall makeup.

It is such an important step that most of us overlook. Curling your eye lashes with your eyelash curler truly help to open up yours eyes and reduces the chance of your mascara from smudging.

The most vital tool to the modern day oriental eye makeup is the black mascara and a charcoal black eye liner. Asian women usually have almond shaped eyes. The mascara if liberally applied to the upper and the lower lashes helps to enhance the beauty of this eye shape. Do apply generously to your outer lashes as well to make them appear even more outstanding.

These simple steps exude a look of sophiscation with a tinge of modern beauty. I personally prefer to use liquid eyeliner instead of the regular pencil eye liner. Liquid eye liner gives a more dramatic and bold look.

The liquid eye liner is applied to your upper eye lid and use a brown eye liner to line your lower eye lid with the line slightly turned out and up at the outer corner and slightly downwards at the inner corner to enhance your beautiful almond eyes.

For large eyes, dark eyeliners would draw out the beauty of the oriental eyes but the brown or gray eye liner works best for other eyes as dark color tend to make normal eyes smaller.

To add definition to Asian eyes, you could add a medium tone across the lid and brow bone.

Dusting under the brow with a lighter tone will further highlight the eyes. Eyebrow colour should always be darker than the lid colour and it shouldn't be a different colour altogether but rather, just a slightly different shade. For most oriental girls, a yellow based foundation will be a good starting point in getting the overall make up right.

Going for a darker or too light a foundation will create a mask like effect. In choosing a foundation, it is important that you use the face to test for colour because skin texture on your hand and face could be different to that of your face.

Handy hint: Apply make up after you are already dressed or otherwise you run the risk of smudging some of your handy work.
