Square face shaped

A square face has the same widtth at the forehead, jaw and the cheeks.if you have a square face, highlight down the center of your forehead, underneath your eyes, just on top of your cheekbones and also the tip of your chin to draw attention to the middle of your face. You may also contour your hairline at the two corners by your temples and the jaw at the both corners. You can also apply blusher to the apples of your cheeks to help draw the attention away from the corners of the square face and help widen the area and make it appear more oval shaped.
Pear face shaped

The pear shaped face is narrow at the temples, forehead and wider at your cheeks and jawline. If you have a pear shaped face, you should highlight your forehead to create the illusion of width and highlight the area under your eyes on top of your cheekbones and also the tip of your chin. You could contour the jawline and your cheeks to minimize the width too.
Ps: Your hairstyle plays a part in balancing your face too.bangs and hair brushed over your temples can add fullness to your upper half of the face.
Round face shaped

If you have a round shaped face, it is fuller and generally looks more youthful than other face shape. It is shorter, fairly wide, with full cheeks and a rounded chin. You could contour your face by highlighting the forehead, the under eye area, just on top of your cheekbones and the center of your chin to draw attention to the center of your face. You may also want to contour your temples, cheeks and jawline with a bronzer or a porduct that is one or two levels darker than your natural skin tone to create an illusion of a slimmer face.
Long face shaped

The long face has high cheekbone, high and deep forehead and a strong sharp chiseled jawline. If you have a long face, you must never highlight or contour your face as this will make you face appear even longer. But you may brush a bit of bronzer across your chin to create the illusion of a shorter chin. You can be generous with your blush and place heaps of colour on the apples of your cheeks as this will help to widen and shorten your face. When you apply your blush, you should start closer in on the apples of your cheeks and brush in a outward motion across the face.
Ps: The right hairstyle will go a long way in balancing your face shape too, bangs can help to shorten the length of your face.
