Best Mascara

The mascara is a type of cosmetic used to thicken and darken your lashes. The mascara defines the lashes and lengthens the colour or curl the lashes depending on the type used.

The oldest form of mascara is called the cake mascara. Back in the 1950's, the cake mascara was made of coal dust and Vaseline, and it was applied to the lashes with a moisture brush.

Today, the mascara is commonly sold in a tube that comes with a wand brush for easy application on the lashes. The types of mascara available on the market now is wide. There are the clear mascara and even the primers which thicken your lashes without adding colour to it.

Mascara these days come in many different shades. There is also the waterproof type of mascara that prevents smudging. This thus allows you to dance and party to your delight without looking like a panda bear at the end of the party. There are mascaras especially made to retain curls and do not cause your lashes to clump together easily as well.

Last but not least, there are the volumizing and lengthening mascaras which ingredients include rayon or nylon fibers. This type of mascara allows a temporary extension of your natural eye lashes.

In these days, mascaras may even contain vitamins (i.e. Vitamin B5) that are nourishing to your lashes.
