Applying Eye Makeup: How to Apply Eye Shadow

- Liquid foundation
- Eye shadow brush
- Highlighter
- Base
- Medium eye shadow colour
- Dark eye shadow colour

1. You need to apply the base using your liquid foundation as this will ensure a smooth canvas for your eye shadow to glide on smoothly and allows the true colour of your eye shadow to shine.

2. Contour the darkest shade of eye shadow at the outer corner lash line to the middle of your eye socket line.

3. Apply the medium shade of eye shadow to your entire socket.

4. Blend step 2 and 3 nicely.

5. Apply the highlighter above your socket line just below the eye brow.

Applying Eye Makeup: How to Put on Fake Eye Lashes?

2. Trim your fake eye lash to fit your eyes if it is too long

3. Squeeze some glue to the back of your hand and dab your eye lash edges into the glue.

4. Press your fake eye lash as close to your lash line as possible.

5. Hold the fake eye lash until it is securely in place.

6. Wait for your glue to dry.

7. If there is a gap between your real eye lashes and the fake eye lashes, use your eye shadow or black eye liner to hide it.

8. Apply your mascara generously in an upward motion.

9. You may remove your fake eye lashes with the help of a damp cloth at the end of the day. But if you are having problems, please avoid the temptations to pull as you may remove your real eye lashes along with the fake ones. Apply some Vaseline petroleum jelly and wait for a few second before removal again.

Applying Eye Makeup: How to Apply Your Mascara?

- Mascara
- Cotton pad
- Petroleum jelly

1. Put some petroleum jelly on your cotton pad and clean the clumps on your mascara wand.

2. Put the wand into the tube in a circular motion instead of pumping the wand into the bottle, so as to ensure an even coat of mascara for application on your eyes.

3. Run the wand gently over your cotton pad to remove the excess.

4. Look down 45 degree angle and apply your mascara to the top of your eye lash combing downwards.

5. Look up and apply your mascara to the bottom part of your eye lash.

6. Wiggle your mascara wand to the root of your eye lash.

7. Using the tip of the mascara wand, apply the mascara to your lower eye lash.

8. Wait for a few minutes and recoat.
