Anti-Aging Skin care for all stages

We were once babies with amazing skin that shines and bounces from your touch. It has ample elasticity and collagen that gives perfectly smooth skin. All a child requires is a fun bath with mild soap to wipe off dirt and maintain that lovely skin texture.

As children’s skin has not been weathered, it is resilient and renews itself rapidly between 21 to 28 days. The most important skin care is to ensure ample sun protection. A good diet is essential to your child’s health and forms the foundation to a great looking skin in their later life.

When we hit our teens, our body experiences several hormone changes. From this stage in our life, we should begin our skin care regime. For most teenagers, they would suffer from acne breakouts as their sebaceous glands become overactive. And it can develop from a minor to a severe acne breakout that may cause scarring later in life. As a teenager, we should make an effort to understand our own skin type and find the most appropriate product for our skin.

The 3 main steps to flawless skin are to cleanse tone and moisturize! It is vital that you must not pick at your acnes as it can become infected and spread to other areas of your face and cause permanent scarring. Avoid sun tanning! It truly causes irreversible damages to your skin. Those beautiful tan beauties that you see down the beach would look much older than you are within 5 years. Why do you want speed up your aging process? Don’t be silly! It’s not worth it. Remember to protect yourself generously with sun screen lotions when you are playing some sports outdoors.

When you reach your twenties, you might experience changes in your skin condition once again. Again you should reassess your skin needs and give it the correct care and conditioning. You might want to begin your anti-aging regime. You can rotate your regular moisturiser with a set of anti aging products.

And when you hit your mid twenties, you may want a step up on your anti aging skin care regime. Please remember to apply your sun screen to prevent future ultra-violet damages! You may like to add on a vitamin supplement to your diet and make exercising a part of your life.

For a woman in her thirties or forties, her metabolism rate falls rapidly as the muscle mass starts to decline and the skin starts to wrinkle. Your skin only renews itself every 40 days. Your skin discoloration and sagginess may start to appear. At this stage, you may like to consider chemical peels with a skin specialist. To further enhance your skin, it is prime time to invest in a good facial treatment at the turn of each season. You may like to have a good session with your dietician for the most suitable diet for you at this stage. It would be highly recommended that you exercise regularly and also ensure that you have ample rest. You may like to pick up yoga, meditation or Pilate at this stage as it will alleviate your stress level. Stress is like a time bomb. It causes you to age rapidly and acts as a catalyst to aggravate health problems later in life.

After this point in life, have an aggressive approach to skin care. You may like to consider botox or some of the other facial lift minor surgeries.
